Development Internships

Experience
Our internships in development cover a wide range of experiences and vary based on semester. Regular responsibilities include acting as a host or hostess making popcorn & spice tea, welcoming families & children, and assisting the development team with projects. Interns may also be asked to connect with volunteers, research needs, etc. In the fall, interns are a big part of helping prepare for our 2 biggest fundraisers of the year.
Details
We offer internships for college credit or on a volunteer basis. Must be 18 or older to apply. Areas of study that fit well with our internship include Human Development, Event Planning, etc. While we don't offer undergrad counseling internships, this development internship can be sometimes be a helpful experience in understanding the behind-the-scenes of how a nonprofit organization runs...from helping new families feel welcome to fundraising to supporting the front office.
